Not sure why. Just busy with life I guess.

It's 3:30am and I am still up and in pain. I once again pushed myself too far while trying to do our decluttering and yearly cleanup. But it wouldn't have caused a normal person to have pain. Just touching up some paint, helping Jaz rearrange the hair accessories, and moving just a few tubs to get to my homeschool curriculum.

This blog really puts it well: http://www.butyoudontlooksick.com/articles/written-by-christine/the-spoon-theory-written-by-christine-miserandino/ I don't have many spoons to start the day. And using more spoons than I should have makes me out of commission a day or two.

No I do not have lupus as the other blogger does, that was ruled out when I got pregnant with Kaydence. Our only other guess is fibromyalgia. I have tried changing my diet and many other things. But lately the pain is getting more intense. I just want to be able to care for my family without having to retreat to the bedroom every morning for more sleep.....without having to load up on Motrin and rely on my older children so much.....without having to ask so much from my husband.....I just want to be a good wife and mother.butterflyjujuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06588515955555199324noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091358731730694304.post-3499906445957470382010-09-07T00:26:00.000-07:002010-09-07T00:34:05.336-07:00Diaper bag giveawayhttp://www.mommy-mentor.com/2010/09/ju-ju-be-giveaway-win-bff-be-spicy-or.html

This blogger Amy is giving away a new diaper bag by Ju Ju Be. I mean I didn't cry when my mother had heart surgery. But my own baby under the knife? You can bet your sweet keester that I did. I held strong until we got in the van to come home and I just lost it.

We got up right around 8am for her to eat her only meal for the day. She could have milk until 10:15am. Then clear liquids until 2:15pm. Her surgery was schedules for 4:15pm

She amazed me with how good she was. She played around in the first waiting room. Then played with the toys in the other room while we waited. She patiently let people touch her and hold her. Then she got sleepy and napped a while. Then it was time for happy meds after waiting for 2 hours. She made the nurses day by talking and being all silly. Then came the hard part.

I had to hand her over to a complete stranger and tell her bye. Those that know Meredyth know how much she takes in and understands. So I had already told her what was going to happen and she seemed to accept it.

The wait was the most horrible thing I've ever had. The doc calls me back for consultation. The surgery went great. The hole in her abdomen was bigger than he expected. Then more wait. I just wanted my baby back!!!

Finally I was allowed to go back to her. She was very happy to see me. I almost couldn't hold back the tears then. There was a hitch in her breathing from her screaming when she came out from under anesthesia. And she was so hoarse from the breathing tube. So we got all of our release info and was able to come home.

When we got home, Memaw and the rest of the gang was waiting. Meredyth impatiently waited for her "Maw" to hold her. Memaw was fixing cookies. Memaw sat with her for a bit and tried to feed her. Memaw had to go but we had bedtime prayers first. The big kids went to bed and M snuggled in for a sleep.

She woke to see daddy. Ate a few cereal bars and drank a little. She talked to us a bit. She decided to stretch out for the first time this night and went back to sleep. She woke a bit when she smelled mommy eating chocolate. She ate a few bites and went back to sleep.

She is comfortably asleep in the Pack n Play in the living room. I wasn't sure how good she'd sleep tonight so I thought this would be best. This way I'd have quick access to the fridge for drinks and the recliner for cuddling if needed.

Praying for an easy night and rest. Tomorrow may be a long day.butterflyjujuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06588515955555199324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091358731730694304.post-30914367871779273132010-06-20T19:01:00.001-07:002010-06-20T19:13:33.534-07:00EVERYONE ELSE knows you're a mom when...These were all posted on another board I belong to. Thought they were funny and that I'd collect the sayings here. Some of these could both be mom or dad.

EVERYONE ELSE knows you're a mom when...

-you have a Batman tatoo bandaid on the back of your thigh

-you pull cars and board books out of your purse searching for your wallet

-you forget about the 4 bows in your hair before walking into Target/convenient store/etc

-You can continue a conversation with a friend in your mini van, while completely tuning out the hollering from the back

-when you announce that you have to go potty or peepee!

-When you realize that you've been walking around all day with a sticker (or a lot of stickers) on your ankle/back of your tshirt/substitute any other place where you're probably not supposed to have a sticker.

-When you wear a Spongebob Band-Aid.

-When you carry around random stuffed animals.

-You high five the random toddler in the store who just announced that he pooped in the potty that morning much to his mother's embarrassment.

-You walk around oblivious to the snot/slobber/jelly/chocolate smear on your shoulder

-You talk about your child going potty or poo during normal conversation like it is a current event!

-You find silly putty on your butt at the end of the day, and realize this is what DD was referring to when she pointed at your rear end and said "What's that?" before you left the house that morning.

-You listen to the Bob the Builder CD, or the Sesame Street soundtrack, for 15 minutes in the car before you realize you don't have to, because the kids aren't with you!

-You and your hubby are out in public without the kids and yet you still call him "Daddy" when trying to grab his attention.

-you hum Elmo's world at work

-When you can recite any childrens movie word for word, but you have never actually sat down and watched the movie.

-You have the soother hanging on a clip from your bathing suit

-You pull out your pack of wipes and ask someone if they need a baby wipe

-When you realize you are talking to your gal pal about different types of poop (or lack thereof)!

-when you spell things mid conversation like " C-A-N-D-Y " or "P-A-R -K"

-When you recite kids books and/or music from heart when your children aren't around.

-When you come back from the restroom and complain about the lack of changing tables... even though you don't have any kids with you because those are just the type of things you notice.

-When someone asks for a tissue and you are able to produce not just a tissue, but a boogie wipe, baby wipe, bottle of hand sanitizer, drink of water and breath mint.

-When you're busy checking out the stroller, carrier, diaper bage, etc. of every parent passing by.

-When you ask someone to please use their "nice words."

-When you get excited and have to tell everyone you see that the store you shop at most often got new shopping carts.

-When you're out at night and you tell the people you're with that you really should be getting home because it's past your bedtime.

-When you have to remind yourself to close the door to the bathroom in a public place or at a friend's house because you are so used to going with the door open at home. (either by choice or because your toddler just MUST join you)

-When you call things by the noise they make, even when you are with only grown-ups. (Look at the beep-beep!)

-When you can't remember the last time you were with only grown-ups.

-When you stop excusing the state of the living room to guests.

-When you haven't been to the grocery store in two weeks, so the only food left in your house is 'toddler' food - chicken nuggets, goldfish, baby apple juice, and cheese sticks.butterflyjujuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06588515955555199324noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091358731730694304.post-35942371271649332042010-05-21T17:45:00.001-07:002010-05-31T22:19:17.280-07:00Winner chosen...Congrats Nikia!I used Random.org to randomly pick a number between 1 and 26. Making sure everything is spotless all the time and everything in it's place. Yet I wonder if these people are the same with their walk with Christ. Do they take the time to make sure their life it spotless that everything is in it's place so they can make it to Heaven? Or are they those that "look" clean on the outside but on the inside not white as snow?

What about those that let things get filthy before cleaning? Is their life and walk with Christ the same? Do they let things get filthy in their life before they run back to God? How many times do they expect God to forgive? Yes He is a loving, merciful, and forgiving God and will forgive many times. We need to remember that He can and will say NO if He feels that is best. What then? The Bible says not to tempt the Lord.

To enter into Heaven we need to be meticulous on making sure we are spotless. Is there anything that God would not be pleased with? Prayer, worship, and devotions will help us learn to be where we need to be. God will not let an honest heart be deceived. He will work with us and mold us to fit His needs IF we will give up and let Jesus take over.

Are you that meticulous person or the filthy one? Don't let your heart be deceived. Strive to keep your salvation. You never know if the next time the answer will be NO.butterflyjujuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06588515955555199324noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091358731730694304.post-87968782058579808982009-12-18T13:39:00.000-08:002009-12-18T13:42:38.121-08:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwx0t_8Jhf3Ntuu41uG0iHTvmkl_suS_1yUs6igXvVUujrmgeX1miGRIJBCTcvS7uUI22x7fux4TDzjAXKbMUwoNT0efzVxwhT00ystJJNe1oV70BGjEGsAOsWhe0QRxfKCKYynqeCrbEX/s400/Christmas+card+copy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5416694417632046370" />

Another year come and gone! God has been wonderful once again. We moved again this year. Yes we just moved next door. Send me a message if you need our new address.

Jeremy and JuLinda still do the same things. Jeremy works at the same place. And JuLinda homeschools and cares for the children.

Sean is now in 2nd grade. He is so smart and whizzes through his school work it seems. He still has an occasional migraine but we have figured out the triggers and can keep them at bay most of the time.

Jazmyne is now in Kindergarten. She enjoys doing her schoolwork. She still has her heart problem but we are trusting in the Lord still for healing.

Kaydence is now two. She keeps us laughing most of the time. Her hearing problem is now gone. Praise the Lord, He came by and touched her when we were in revival.

Meredyth was born April 3, 2009. Weighing in at a whopping 5 ½ lbs. She is a beautiful little girl that has just recently learned to crawl. We have learned she is severely allergic to pork and its by-products. This keeps us from going many places.

Prayers for our family are always greatly appreciated.

May God bless you and your family!

The Deithers

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!butterflyjujuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06588515955555199324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091358731730694304.post-17629012945061210592009-12-09T19:23:00.000-08:002009-12-09T19:25:30.944-08:00Win a HP TouchSmart!http://mckgiveaways.blogspot.com/2009/12/hp-touchsmart-giveaway.html

Would it be awesome to get one of these!butterflyjujuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06588515955555199324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091358731730694304.post-29102115438086881112009-12-08T17:43:00.001-08:002009-12-08T18:00:56.565-08:00What a day...one I hope I don't have to repeat.Since my husband is on Facebook, I can't complain as much on there about my day. He doesn't feel like I should broadcast my day to everyone. So instead I'll broadcast here to a select few. He's one to keep his feelings and thoughts to himself. Me, I have to get them out there or I'll go nuts.

Today started off okay enough. Then I receive a call from the plumber's. "Just making sure you were home, we're on our way." Nice huh? Ok so they say that our hot water heater should be working better. Jeremy said he wasn't sure. I'll take a shower tonight and see what I think.

Then we do our school work. Things are going good enough except Meredyth is throwing a fit. Finally get her down and Jazmyne's school finished. I decided to start supper and get out the Christmas trees for the kids rooms. Got Jaz and Kaydi's set up. Need hooks to put the ornaments on but those are at mom's. Okay so go into Sean's room (who at 7:50pm still hasn't finished his schoolwork), and find out that his and Jaz's definition of cleaning that room is to throw everything into the corners. So I pretty much lose it.

They have been cleaning for 2 days and the only thing they accomplished was a path to the closet so I can get out the tree and a path to where they want the tree. I'd rather they had just tossed things into the closet. And on top of this Sean still had 2 subjects left to do because he spent a lot of time piddling.

So by now I'm yelling which I do not like to do. I rarely get mad but I was mad. Which means Sean is crying too. Jazmyne handles it in stride because she seems to understand what she needs to do and how to do it. Sean cannot get past the "it's too hard for me to do" and he won't attempt it. And he talks Jaz into stopping when she knows it's not done.

So next I finished cooking and they ate supper while I messed with Meredyth. Sean went back to working on his schoolwork after we talked. I apologized for getting so mad but he needs to understand why. He has tomorrow morning to do his schoolwork and get the other half of his room clean (Jaz did half earlier). And then we go to Mom's for supper then church.

I do not know what else to do to get through to Sean. I wonder if it stems from not seeing Daddy do anything at home. Jeremy does his stuff when he gets home from work most of the time. Or if it's just plain stubborness. I've talked until I'm blue in the face, I'm running out of consequences, what else is there?

Thanks for making it this far. Hopefully soon I can relax with a cup of cocoa, stirred with a soft peppermint stick, topped with chocolate chips and coolwhip.butterflyjujuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06588515955555199324noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091358731730694304.post-23083025503570648352009-12-03T20:31:00.000-08:002009-12-03T20:39:12.886-08:00Carseat poncho<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiftW0YAhyphenhyphenaWhDwCQglTkZ9AqoMWKCSehuLEUTAyz__MMXikwSS2VoMP30LnYrakiXulCVHMPXQiZ9TVWmIyrWSDVtU5a88I5DO8nHGLvrPz9vncoH8ACizxjqMSnYUIN7RHihCzhUCWRzi/s400/100_1284.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5411234927207209442" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbBfws5FPF-vhzVAVtwOYHqxscmNUkpCAZBf6Krm2kIH-P9CVJM3w3uW316vrlU5mBtRHID5jWw-Cnz64HGFTbhLTxWy61uV5fA0hismRIX0iyC5EQmLnUoxmjRHhLJtcVXS0SOy45tK0o/s400/100_1285.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5411234214234854082" />
Isn't it pretty! But let me tell you this was a bugger to sew. I'm guessing my bobbin isn't wound properly. I broke one needle and had my machine tell me to stop for safety purposes many times. But it will work well enough this winter for Meredyth to stay warm and safe when traveling in the car.butterflyjujuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06588515955555199324noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091358731730694304.post-80886400905995460702009-11-28T17:33:00.001-08:002009-11-28T17:37:06.290-08:00My beautiful gifts from God!<img style="display:block; He has worked in a freezer warehouse doing various jobs for the last 7 years. Right now he is in sanitation. Just very grateful he has a job right now and hasn't had to worry about it. He also loves to work on computers.

I have been a stay at home mom since Sean was born (except a few months stint as a receptionist in a daycare). I truly cannot imagine doing anything different. We (yes daddy does help at times) homeschool 2 of our 4 children. The other 2 are just too small. When I get a chance I do like to sew for the children and myself. But with 4 children I do not get a chance to sew much without little fingers trying to help.

Tune in tomorrow to learn about Sean!butterflyjujuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06588515955555199324noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091358731730694304.post-88740340777103676802009-11-22T23:47:00.000-08:002009-11-22T23:52:56.760-08:00Meet the family<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 330px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZ4vpDZ-ZlQHLsjUvnvAd2hw-wk6vxOzoOhSxaUho5-0H0WrjuKLjU3k-sTLFBV87cX8NQpTfmS0Yvqe38tEY30SrQfHbPmHUooc97WPeUa1gv2WACfiyC4XgPJH69C6stg0XZgBqWHsV-/s400/DSC_0661.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5407203198815201378" />

Meet the family. Thanks Ju Ju BeSo I love the diaper bags made by Ju Ju Be (see side advertisement). What's even more awesome? They do Real Mom Giveaways. Meaning you go to their site http://www.ju-ju-be.com/ and register for the Pink Room don't get too lost looking at the beautiful bags . Then you find out what this weeks subject is. I won for my Caramel Apple Cheesecake bars with Streudel topping by Paula Deen. Jazmyne was standing on the swing. She said she was swinging to high and was trying to stop and fell out. She fell on her arm. A bruise showed up and it was beginning to swell. While I was looking at it, it popped when I bent her arm and the swelling went down. So I called the pediatrician. He said that an x-ray would be best. She didn't use it and complained when she moved it.

We loaded up and met Memaw at the ER. They took an x-ray of it. Just a contusion (bad bruise). They think the pop was me popping her elbow back in place or something like that. We were in and out within 2 hours. We were to ice it and then heat it every so often as needed. She didn't need it when we got home.

This morning, we asked if it hurt. We poked around on it and she said it was fine. She said, "It doesn't hurt at all, lots of people were praying for me!"

So to God be the glory! Thank you Lord for taking care of my daughter.butterflyjujuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06588515955555199324noreply@blogger.com0
